Job summary

Harvard University is seeking an Outreach and Special Projects Coordinator to support departmental community outreach efforts and a range of special projects and events at Harvard College.

The role focuses on civic engagement, residential engagement, and campus visibility efforts, collaborating with faculty, staff, alumni, and partners. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with at least 1 year in community engagement in academic or non-profit settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of community engagement work experience in an academic or non-profit environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees production of the Public Service Weekly newsletter during the fall and spring semesters.
• Generates social media content with campus offices and connects with stakeholders across campus and in the community.
• Develops content for promotional materials, annual reports, and program directories for the department.
• Supports special programming for the department and campus events, including conferences and student activities.
