Job summary

CSUSB Palm Desert Campus is seeking Orientation Leaders to welcome new students, conduct campus tours, and support orientation activities. You will engage freshmen and transfer students, acting as a peer mentor and example of campus life.

Role involves leading tours, assisting with events, and providing information on campus resources. Applicants must be CSU students in good standing and able to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
• Must be admitted or registered as a CSU student.
• Must maintain a 2.0 GPA per semester and cumulatively.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage new students, serving as the primary point of contact.
• Lead campus tours and provide information about facilities, resources and services.
• Facilitate orientation activities and group events.
• Act as a peer mentor and role model for incoming students.
