Job summary

Belmont University is seeking a reliable Student Operations and Surveillance Assistant to support operations within Auxiliary Services. The student will monitor live and recorded surveillance at the campus convenience store and other dining locations, document incidents, and prepare reports.

They will assist with the Bruin Eats mobile ordering platform and provide administrative support for dining operations.

Qualifications

Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during the academic semester.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify irregular or unusual activity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently after receiving instructions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

Surveillance and Operations Support: monitor live/recorded video, document unusual activity, prepare incident summaries and reports, maintain records, identify operational trends.
Dining Technology and Bruin Eats Support: test, monitor, troubleshoot Bruin Eats, document issues, communicate with management, summarize feedback, support improvements.
Administrative and Operational Support: maintain records, assist with inventories and audits, support projects, organize files, uphold confidentiality, provide general office support.
