Job summary

Houston Community College seeks an experienced Campus Manager support role to help maintain a safe, productive learning environment for administrators, faculty, staff, students and visitors. You will coordinate campus activities, supervise staff, and work with security and maintenance teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Bachelor’s degree required; 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office and strong organizational and service orientation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate; supervise directly or through appropriate personnel all campus activities.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with coordination of maintenance activities.
• Establish and maintain a positive learning environment for administrators, faculty, staff and students.
• Serve as safety officer for sites, coordinating training with Director of Safety.
• Coordinate security issues with on-site security personnel.
• Maximize classroom utilization with instructional staff.
• Assist and coordinate student services activities on campus with the Dean of Student Success.
• Assist and coordinate student service disciplinary cases as needed.
• Provide oversight of cashiering functions.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control and mail services.
• Supervise and evaluate Campus Manager staff per college policies.
• Report and coordinate maintenance activities with Maintenance Supervisor.
• Provide on-site supervision of housekeeping and room set-up.
• Coordinate moves/adds of furniture and equipment at location.
• Assist the College Operations Officer in preparing the departmental budget.
