The Pingry School in Basking Ridge, NJ, seeks a part-time Operations Officer to serve as the first face of our campus after school hours. You will greet visitors, monitor facilities, and support evening activities at the Basking Ridge campus with occasional duties at other campuses.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations, this role emphasizes a security-first, service-first mindset and requires flexibility for occasional weekend events. Compensated at $18–$25/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, operations, security, or school settings is preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional reception services and guest check-ins.
• Support evening event setups, breakdowns, and traffic flow with campus partners.
• Conduct security rounds and monitor access to keep students and staff safe.
• Lead safety drills and be prepared to respond to emergencies.
• Model Pingry’s Honor Code in all interactions.
