The University of Washington is seeking a Director of Building Services and Campus Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership for Custodial Services, Grounds & Sustainability, and Mail & Warehouse Operations.

This role ensures safe, efficient, sustainable, and high-quality services on a large campus, coordinating cross‑functional teams and resources to enhance the student, faculty, and staff experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in facilities management, business or public administration or related field.
• At least five years of progressively responsible management experience in facilities, building services, campus operations, or related field.
• Experience supervising staff and managing budgets in a large, complex environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead Custodial Services, Campus Grounds & Sustainability, and Mail & Warehouse Operations.
• Develop program goals, budgets, and service delivery strategies.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety policies across service areas.
• Build and guide cross-functional teams to improve operations and customer experience.
• Develop policies, procedures and cost structures for consistent service delivery.
• Monitor performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate with campus partners to support sustainability and campus operations.
