Sam Houston State University is seeking a Student Employee for the School of Agricultural Sciences to support the Student Office. The position offers work-study eligibility and up to 28 hours per week, with a $13 hourly rate.

You will handle phones, mail, filing, copies, scans, and campus deliveries, plus some faculty travel duties as needed. Applicants must be Work Study eligible and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a willingness to learn other programs.

Qualifications

• Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and willingness to learn other programs.
• Must be prompt, dependable and efficient in all duties.
• Must work courteously with faculty, staff and students at all times.

Responsabilités

• Answer phones, sort and distribute mail, heavy filing, make copies and scan documents.
• Make daily deliveries to departments around campus and assist with other tasks as requested by office administrators.
• Will handle some faculty travel as needed.
