The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a Certified Food Manager credential, and at least two years of lead experience in institutional food service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Food Manager (CFM) required.
• Two years of institutional food service lead experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation methods, equipment, and safety.
• Ability to manage and direct personnel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to multiple sites as needed.
• Ability to work flexible hours for events and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Complete the six-week Manager in Training rotation program.
• Cover managerial duties at district sites when a manager is absent.
• Prepare for advancement into a manager position when openings arise.
• Develop work schedules, assign duties, and oversee campus nutrition staff.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure menu specifications and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with campus administration for schedule changes and personnel matters.
