Job summary

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks, with relocation assistance to the Madison, WI area. You will evaluate technology, influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure, and design/ troubleshoot WAN connectivity while implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and/or UPSes.
• Proficiency with Cisco enterprise hardware preferred; CCNA or CCNP certification helpful.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Configure firewall rules and design and troubleshoot WAN connectivity.
• Leverage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Collaborate in a small, cross-functional team to keep Epic's network running for healthcare customers.
