Job summary

Epic, based near Madison, WI, is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. The role involves evaluating technology and influencing changes in Epic's internal infrastructure, with a modern stack from Cisco and other vendors.

You will design and troubleshoot WAN connectivity, configure firewall rules, and use Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and/or UPSes.
• Proficiency with Cisco enterprise hardware; CCNA/CCNP helpful.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate and influence changes to Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Design and troubleshoot WAN connectivity and firewall rules.
• Leverage Terraform and Ansible for deployments.
• Collaborate in a small team to keep systems running for healthcare customers.
