Job summary

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. You will evaluate technology, influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure, and work with Cisco and other vendors to design and troubleshoot WAN connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Academic and professional success
• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and/or UPSes
• Cisco enterprise hardware proficiency; CCNA/CCNP helpful
• Relocation to Madison, WI area reimbursed
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• COVID-19 vaccination

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Investigate and implement modern switching and routing platforms.
• Configure firewall rules and design/troubleshoot WAN connectivity.
• Leverage Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
