Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks an AV Support Technician in Cambridge, MA to provide multimedia support for courses and events. You will set up and break down equipment, troubleshoot during classes, and assist with event coverage. Training on equipment, workflow, and space will be provided.

You will support faculty, students, and staff with projections, audio reinforcement in large classrooms, and recording sessions, ensuring high-quality audio and video. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

  • Two years of college or technical school or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of audio, video, and multimedia technologies
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Support faculty, students, and staff with classroom multimedia and projection
  • Assist with projection of teaching materials from various sources
  • Ensure prompt and professional communications with instructors and staff
  • Coordinate multimedia tech for course and event support
  • Check out equipment and transport to classrooms and back to office
  • Set up AV equipment to begin recording classes on time
  • Record teaching with quality audio and video
  • Maintain AV equipment and assist with scheduling coverage
