Job summary

Indiana University Campus Facility Services (CFS) seeks an experienced maintenance professional to perform skilled and semi-skilled work across campus buildings and systems. You will install, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related components, leading projects when required.

The role requires five years of journey-level experience or a DOL-apprenticed trade, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (HSED or GED).
• Five years journey-level experience or a DOL apprenticed trade certificate (electrical/plumbing/HVAC/carpentry).
• Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by Indiana University on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair on campus buildings, facilities, equipment or machinery.
• Assemble, install, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related components.
• Lead maintenance staff on projects or assist in a general maintenance capacity as needed.
• Adhere to building codes, blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs; troubleshoot and repair defective equipment.
• Assist with snow removal and provide 24-hour emergency response as needed.
