Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is seeking Campus Staff Ministers to plant and nurture witnessing communities of students and faculty on college campuses in Connecticut and surrounding campuses. The role serves across CT and nearby campuses, with pay ranges posted for 40 hours per week.

The position emphasizes spiritual growth, campus leadership, collaboration, and ministry development, including fundraising to sustain ministry. Pay range shown is $44,016.00 to $58,680.00 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.
• A minimum of an Associate's degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college.
• Strong interpersonal skills (including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software

Responsibilities

• Grow in personal spiritual discipline through Scripture, prayer, and worship.
• Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship.
• Build leadership teams and align ministry plans to annual goals.
• Mobilize students and faculty to engage networks with the gospel.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to reflect biblical standards and partnership.
• Work with local, area, regional, and national staff to ensure excellence.
