Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in a college setting seeks a candidate to lead and grow campus ministry with students and faculty. You will guide Scripture-based programs, worship, and disciple-making, while coordinating with staff to implement strategic outreach and leadership development.

The role emphasizes mentorship, collaborative planning, and fundraising to sustain ministry initiatives and partnerships across campuses.

Qualifications

• Annual affirmation of InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement and Code of Conduct.
• Bachelor’s degree required for four-year campus assignments; Associate’s degree minimum for two-year campuses.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.
• Ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty.

Responsibilities

• Pursue spiritual growth through Scripture, prayer, and worship individually and in community.
• Develop self-leadership and embody Scriptural standards for behavior and attitudes.
• Increase campus witnessing communities’ number, size, health, and influence.
• Communicate InterVarsity’s vision to transform students, faculty, and campuses.
• Create a culture of dependence on God and start new witnessing communities.
• Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship.
• Set annual goals for growth, including conversions and leadership development.
• Build leadership teams with vitality, health, and mission alignment.
• Develop ministry plans and evaluate/modify as needed.
• Mobilize students and faculty to engage networks with the gospel.
• Supervise Ministry Interns and Campus Ministry Interns.
• Gather diverse groups to follow Jesus and advance campus mission.
