Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is seeking a Campus Staff Minister to plant and grow witnessing communities on college campuses. The role emphasizes spiritual growth, campus leadership, and collaborative ministry across diverse groups of students and faculty.

The position requires biblical alignment, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to develop ministry plans and partner networks to support campus work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus; an Associate’s degree for two-year campuses or community college.
• Strong interpersonal skills including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Pursue maturity as a disciple of Jesus Christ and reflect God’s purposes in your life and work.
• Lead campus students and faculty with Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences.
• Develop ministry plans, programs, and teams to close gaps between current reality and goals.
• Build leadership teams and develop plans to achieve annual goals.
• Raise and manage partnerships to resource the ministry financially, in prayer, or through volunteers.
