Job summary

InterVarsity Press in Maryland is seeking a Campus Ministry Associate for the Metro DC and SOMD area. This full-time role focuses on learning and preparing for the responsibilities of a Campus Staff Minister while receiving intensive training.

The position involves working with campus students and faculty, engaging in spiritual leadership, ministry planning, and fundraising activities as part of a 1-2 year commitment to develop capable leaders for InterVarsity's mission.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Ability to contribute to an open and supportive relationship with ministry team members.

Responsibilities

• Participate and be fully engaged in the ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Teach students to love, study and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Learn about and assist in leading on-campus ministry to students and faculty.
• Promote and press forward the Mission on campus.
• Seek opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Learn to guide chapters in developing strategic thinking regarding witness to the university.
