InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA in Maryland is seeking a Campus Staff Minister Associate for a one- to two-year training-focused role. You will learn and perform ministerial responsibilities, lead on campus programs, and engage in organizational development with a focus on spiritual growth and outreach.

You will receive intensive training while contributing to ministry leadership, pastoral care, and partnership development on campus and with local churches as part of a funded,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for four-year campuses.
• Associate's degree required for two-year campuses.
• Experience with InterVarsity or campus ministry preferred (including as a student).

Responsibilities

• Teach students to love, study and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Learn to lead in ministry to students and faculty on campus.
• Promote the Mission on campus and seek opportunities to proclaim the Gospel.
• Guide chapters in developing strategic witness to the university.
• Model and assist students and faculty in growing in love for all ethnicities and cultures.
• Develop student or faculty ministry leadership teams.
• Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students and faculty.
• Engage positively with supervision from staff ministry director.
• Provide pastoral care and support for student and leadership teams and individuals.
• Provide training and resources for spiritual development of students and faculty.
• Recruit students and faculty and lead conferences and projects.
• Perform administrative tasks to fulfill InterVarsity's mission and policies.
• Follow budgeting and expense reporting guidelines.
• Lead annual chapter affiliation with Campus Staff Minister.
• Fulfill area, regional and national reporting requirements.
• Serve as ambassador to ministry partners and churches.
• Support fund development and public relations for the ministry.
• Maintain expenses within allocated budgets.
• Secure personal financial and prayer support; manage donor relations.
• Develop and implement a 30-day plan for raising personal budget.
• Communicate with ministry partners at least four times a year.
• Cultivate supportive relationships with alumni.
