Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA in California is seeking a Part-time Campus Ministry Associate for the Greater Los Angeles Greek undergraduate community. The role focuses on learning and preparing for full Campus Staff Minister responsibilities over a one-year training period.

You will participate in ministry planning, spiritual leadership, and partnerships with campus stakeholders while developing student leaders and fostering a culture of gospel-centered witness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for four-year campuses; Associate's degree required for two-year campuses.
• Prior experience with InterVarsity or campus ministry preferred.
• Willing to receive training to become a Campus Staff Minister.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach students to love, study and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Develop and guide ministry leadership teams and chapter strategy.
• Promote the Mission on campus and cultivate partnerships with churches.
• Perform administrative tasks, budgeting and reporting.
• Provide pastoral care and support for students and faculty.
