Job summary

InterVarsity invites applications for the Campus Ministry Associate (Undergraduate Ministry) in California Southern. This part-time internship provides intensive ministry training, leadership experience, and engagement with students and faculty on campus as part of InterVarsity’s mission.

The program lasts one to two years, with supervision and potential continuation based on performance. Salary is paid monthly; fundraising supports the compensation.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Prior leadership experience in an InterVarsity Chapter is preferred.
• Willingness to receive training to become a Campus Staff Minister.

Responsibilities

• Be a growing disciple and practice daily spiritual disciplines.
• Participate and lead ministry teams to cast vision and develop leaders.
• Teach Scripture and lead ministry to students and faculty on campus.
• Promote and advance the Mission on campus with diverse groups.
• Proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Guide chapters in strategic witness to the university.
• Foster prayerful lifestyle among students and faculty.
