Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA in Rhode Island seeks an Area Director to lead a ministry team dedicated to planting and growing witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus on college campuses. Through these groups, we aim to transform campuses and empower alumni as change agents for the gospel.

You will model InterVarsity’s Core Values, coach staff ministers, students, and faculty, and set annual goals through prayer, study, and discipleship.

• Pursue a vibrant relationship with the triune God through Scripture, prayer, and worship.
• Exercise self-leadership (self-awareness, self-management, relational integrity, resiliency).
• Embrace Scriptural standards for behavior as described in the Code of Conduct.
• Inspire, coach and develop campus staff ministers, students, faculty, and partners to grow witnessing communities and campus influence.
• Lead staff and students through Scripture, prayer, teaching and discipleship to advance the vision.
