InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is seeking an Area Director to oversee ministry teams and plant witnessing communities on college campuses in Rhode Island. You will lead staff ministers, students, and faculty to grow spiritual maturity and campus-wide influence.

The role emphasizes visionary leadership, Scriptural discipleship, and setting annual goals through prayer and collaboration with teams to advance the ministry across campuses.

Responsibilities

• Spiritual Growth: Pursue a vibrant relationship with the triune God through Scripture, prayer, and worship, both individually and in community
• Spiritual Growth: Exercise self-leadership (self-awareness, self-management, relational integrity, resiliency)
• Spiritual Growth: Embrace Scriptural standards for behavior and attitudes, including the Code of Conduct
• Campus Ministry Leadership: Visionary Guide — inspire, coach and develop campus staff ministers, students, faculty, and ministry partners to increase witnessing communities and campus influence
• Visionary Guide — create vision for establishing witnessing communities that reach every campus, model InterVarsity’s vision and Core Values, lead through Scripture and discipleship
• Visionary Guide — lead staff, students, and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching and discipleship to motivate ministry around vision
• Visionary Guide — set annual goals through prayer, research and reflection with your teams
