Job summary

Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM) is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for Gordon Commons at the ASU Downtown Phoenix Campus. The role involves maintaining and repairing building systems, appliances, doors and locks, lighting, and safety equipment, with a focus on customer service and on-call response.

You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical tasks, painting, and housekeeping duties while documenting work in logs and supporting team needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years general maintenance experience preferred in residential or student communities.
• Preference for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.
• Must be punctual, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use hand/power tools.
• English communication; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and related components.
• Repair public areas, office, and residential furniture as needed.
• Conduct boiler maintenance, plumbing, electrical repairs and painting.
• Maintain and stock the maintenance shop and tools.
• Respond to on-call maintenance emergencies 24/7 on rotation.
