Job summary

Saint Mary’s is seeking a Maintenance Worker to support a high school campus in Phoenix. The role covers day-to-day maintenance and light handyman tasks across the campus, under the Facilities Manager. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

The position is twelve-month, full-time and hourly. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work some evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Experience preferred.
Current driver’s license.
Receive Safe Environment Training and sign the Code of Conduct.
AZ Fingerprint clearance completed.
All completed prior to the start date.

Responsibilities

Assure that maintenance work orders are completed in a timely fashion.
Assure that the school grounds are maintained in a clean and safe manner by mowing, watering, weeding, raking, and general trash pick-up as required.
Perform minor maintenance work throughout the high school campus as needed.
Perform light plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other work as needed.
Provide assistance for event set-up and take-down.
Maintains an inventory of supplies needed for maintenance and repair.
Performs any other job-related tasks deemed necessary and/or assigned by the Facilities Manager and/or principal.
