Job summary

Saint Mary's College High School in Berkeley is seeking a Maintenance Worker to help maintain a safe, functional campus for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Under the director of Buildings & Grounds, you will perform general maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and upkeep of buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems.

The role covers basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting and custodial tasks, plus campus inspections and event setup/breakdown to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• General maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and upkeep of campus buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and custodial work.
• Assist with campus inspections, event setup and breakdown, and other facilities needs to support the effective daily operation of the school.
• Through dependable service, practical problem-solving, and professionalism, this role helps ensure the campus is maintained in a manner that reflects the care and values of the Saint Mary's community.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and upkeep of campus buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems under the direction of the Director of Buildings & Grounds.
• Assist with campus inspections, event setup and breakdown, and other facilities needs to support daily operations.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, functional, and well-cared-for campus environment that reflects Saint Mary's College High School values.
