Job summary

SSC Services for Education is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Facilities for Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi to oversee maintenance, custodial, grounds, and central plant operations. You will partner with campus leadership to drive operational excellence, safety, and an exceptional student environment.

The role requires proven leadership in facilities management, strong financial and budgeting skills, and the ability to lead high-performing teams while maintaining the highest

Qualifications

• Experience leading facilities management on large campuses or similar environments.
• Experience managing large-scale maintenance, custodial, and grounds operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent leadership experience; certifications welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across maintenance, custodial, grounds, and central plant.
• Serve as primary partner to campus leadership and trusted advisor to stakeholders.
• Drive operational performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets with strong financial stewardship.
• Oversee central plant operations and preventive maintenance programs.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams focused on service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Identify and execute campus improvement projects.
