Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring a Residential Living Maintenance Supervisor for Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. The role leads a campus-wide maintenance program to ensure reliability, safety, and longevity of facilities and infrastructure across academic, residential, and auxiliary buildings.

The supervisor will plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities, manage staff, and drive operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Maintenance leadership experience in large facilities
• Experience overseeing preventive maintenance programs
• Strong working knowledge of campus facility systems
• Ability to coordinate schedules with academic calendars and events

Responsibilities

• Lead a campus-wide maintenance program for all facility assets.
• Maintain asset inventories and schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and specialty equipment.
• Plan and schedule work aligned with academic calendars, occupancy, and events.
• Coordinate staffing and resources to ensure on-time work order completion.
• Balance preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Oversee CMMS (AiM) for work orders, asset tracking, and performance reporting.
• Supervise and develop maintenance staff; set expectations for quality and safety.
• Conduct field audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, life safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to minimize disruption.
