Job summary

Under supervision, you will sort and rate mail, operate mail metering and tracking systems, and support shipping and receiving operations. This position emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or GED; valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Six months office or clerical experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.
• Ability and willingness to lift and work outside in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive a variety of trucks and other motorized vehicles, including bicycles.
• Deliver, receive and collect US mail, campus mail, and packages.
• Sort, classify, and rate mail for proper postage; operate mail processing equipment.
• Use receiving and tracking systems to account for mail, packages and materials.
• Participate in process improvement and other duties as needed.
