Job summary

The University of Washington is seeking a Mail Carrier Driver B to join the Finance, Planning, and Budgeting team in Seattle. This role delivers and processes U.S.

and campus mail, operates delivery vehicles and mail processing equipment, and supports shipping and receiving operations across UW departments. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy loads; prior mail or logistics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or GED certificate.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Six months office or clerical experience may substitute for educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, receive and collect U.S. mail and campus mail including packages.
• Operate mail processing equipment and manual mail processing in bulk mail center.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and other duties.
