Job summary

Lawrence University Department of Theatre Arts is seeking a lead carpenter for facilities operations. Ideal candidates should have 5-7 years of carpentry experience, excellent communication skills, and must be able to meet physical demands. The role includes a standard work schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential for call-ins.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-7 years previous carpentry experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to climb using step and extension ladders.

Responsibilities

• Lead carpentry projects and installations on campus.
• Assist with training student workers.
• Provide customer service and respond to requests promptly.
