Job summary

Grand Canyon University in Phoenix seeks a FALL Landscape Student Worker to assist our Facilities Landscape Department and contribute to campus beautification starting Fall 2026. The role supports a 7:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule, Monday–Friday, with up to 20 hours per week while enrolled as a full‑time student.

You will perform tasks such as installing decorative rock, removing debris, cutting grass, trimming trees and bushes, and loading landscape materials.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full‑time student in a bachelor’s or master’s program.
• Maintain 2.0 GPA (Bachelor) or 3.0 GPA (Master).
• Must pass a background check.
• Available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during Landscape Team hours.
• End date: June 30, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist the landscape team with beautification projects installing decorative rock and sand.
• Support the landscape team to remove debris from landscape around campus.
• Support prep/post cleaning for campus events/activities.
• Assist with mowing and pruning of trees and bushes.
• Load/unload grass and tree cuttings; other duties as assigned.
