Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support our culinary team across campus dining programs. You will help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area, wash dishes, stock supplies, and assist with basic food prep as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to food safety standards. Physical stamina is important; you may stand long hours and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work well as part of a team.
• Experience operating a commercial dishwasher.
• Familiar with industry best practices in food service sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area.
• Wash kitchen utensils, equipment and dishes using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Put away clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep and wash floors.
• Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas.
• Assist with food preparation and deliveries as directed by chefs.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
• Communicate regularly with management via calls, emails, and texts.
