Job summary

Aztec Shops Ltd. is seeking a kitchen worker to prepare and assemble cold foods for campus residential dining, retail, and catering venues, following recipes and standards to ensure consistency and quality.

You will maintain clean workstations, operate kitchen equipment safely, assist with deliveries, and adhere to sanitation and health regulations; flexibility for shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1+ year in full production kitchen.
• Preferred: culinary degree/certificate and 2+ years in high-volume food service.
• Food handler certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares products per production records.
• Follows approved recipes for consistency.
• Maintains cleanliness of the workstation at all times.
• Follows sanitation guidelines ensuring fresh, wholesome products.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment safely.
• Assists with deliveries and stores raw food per standards.
• Complies with all policies, laws, and health regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
