Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools is hiring a school cafeteria/kitchen worker to prepare and serve food per a planned menu. You will ensure food quality, assist with basic cooking tasks, and maintain sanitary, organized kitchen and dining areas for students and staff.

The role requires at least a High School Diploma or GED, a Food Handlers card, and about six months of food handling experience. This position supports a school-based food program with routine kitchen duties and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Food Handlers card required.
• Six months of food handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking foods per planned menu.
• Serve and replenish food supplies for students and staff.
• Clean cafeteria and kitchen areas, including tables, floors and equipment.
• Prepare cafeteria for meals, rotate foods, and monitor utensils and napkins.
