Job summary

NMS is seeking a Cook to prepare, produce and present a variety of foods on the Dine College Campus in Tsaile, AZ, and to complete production sheets in coordination with the kitchen team. This role supports other food service activities with dependable daily availability.

Responsibilities emphasize quality and sanitation, proper stocking, and adherence to safety procedures, with no supervisory duties required; flexibility across locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Arizona Food Handler's Card or ServSafe Certification contingent upon 30 days of hire.
• Must have one (1) year of related work experience.
• Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English.
• This work location requires COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Performs main line food production duties per shift.
• Reviews daily needs with supervisors and completes production sheets.
• Assists with menu and recipe development.
• Ensures quality and sanitation of production areas.
• May assist in supervising and training kitchen staff.
• Arranges for kitchen helpers to complete smaller item preparation.
• Verifies and oversees serving lines for proper stocking and cleanliness.
• Fills in for other kitchen positions as needed.
• Maintains rotation for produce and dairy.
• Maintains equipment and sanitation standards.
