Job summary

Adams and Associates is recruiting a Food Service Assistant at the Brunswick Job Corps Center in Georgia. You will assist with meal preparation, keep kitchens clean, manage supplies, and supervise students as needed to support a safe, welcoming campus dining operation.

Your role emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, and adherence to health standards while delivering quality meals to students and staff across the campus community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain local Food Handling / Health Certification.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food for meals, washing, peeling, and coring fruits and vegetables as needed.
• Transfer food, supplies, and equipment between storage areas and the kitchen and/or cafeteria.
• Provide superior customer service at all times.
• Keep the kitchen, cafeteria, and food storage areas clean and sanitized.
• Manage supplies and storage to ensure availability as needed.
• Supervise Job Corps Work-Based Learning students when assigned.
• Collaborate with staff across departments and support students.
