Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for the Moultrie Campus. You will maintain PCOM hardware and software, support desktops, laptops, printers, OS, and networked applications, and assist staff and students with access issues on campus and remotely.

The role requires working variable eight-hour shifts or on-call schedules. You will train end users, help draft IT policies, and generate reports to stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Three years of technical support experience (desktop and applications).
• Strong consultation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Solid project management abilities, handling multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Familiar with TCP/IP, LDAP, and network basics.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting on PCOM equipment via phone, videoconference, or in person.
• Install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and local applications.
• Audit hardware/software operability and collaborate with team, vendors, and service providers.
• Train end users on equipment and applications; participate in training activities.
• Assist with drafting departmental policies and disaster recovery manuals.
• Keep current with hardware/software trends and adjust policies accordingly.
• Collect usage statistics and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Distribute routine and ad hoc reports.

Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science
