Job summary

Liberty University, Inc. in Lynchburg, VA seeks an IT Inventory Apprentice to support technical operations. You will assist with inventory audits, track IT orders, organize inventory and surplus equipment, and coordinate quotes with vendors.

The role fosters learning within a Christian university setting and emphasizes accuracy and collaboration. The candidate should pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, with some hardware/software troubleshooting

Qualifications

Education: Working on a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Candidates should have some previous experience installing and troubleshooting computer components (hardware and software).

Responsibilities

Assist with technical issues for the assigned department and support leadership.
Work on tasks as assigned by leadership and team members.
Help streamline business processes using new or current technology.
Document business processes, review inefficiencies, and make improvement recommendations.
Learn Liberty University systems and data sets to accurately extract information.
Adhere to Liberty University policies and represent the University professionally.
Collaborate effectively as a team member supporting the LU mission.
