Job summary

Central Oregon Community College is seeking a Federal Work-Study Redmond Support and Technology Assistant. The position supports faculty, students, and staff with IT needs, library services, and customer service at the Redmond campus.

Responsibilities include streaming classes, office tasks, and assisting with Clothing Connection and Food Pantry operations, while maintaining strong communication and teamwork in a dynamic campus environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study for the 2026-27 Academic Year.
• Excellent customer service: ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to manage conflicts within and/or between groups and to work in a team environment.
• Considerable computer and keyboarding ability; adept with software applications/databases, internet usage.
• Ability to be accurate and detail oriented.
• Ability to remain flexible and do different tasks on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for streaming classes and office tasks at the Redmond campus.
• Assist with campus projects, mail distribution, and phone management.
• Support classroom technology and help desk tasks as needed.
• Handle library holds, loans, and equipment checkouts to students.
• Assist with Clothing Connection and Food Pantry operations and inventory.
