Job summary

The University of South Carolina is seeking an Interpersonal Violence Advocate to provide confidential advocacy and resource coordination for student survivors of sexual assault, gender-based and intimate partner violence, stalking and harassment on campus.

Under supervision, you will respond to the 24/7 hotline during assigned hours, coordinate campus and community resources (including housing, food, transportation), and ensure data is compliant with regulations while pursuing professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health promotion/education, public health, social work, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with victims/survivors of interpersonal violence.
• Experience in college/university setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve on-call team for 24/7 hotline during assigned hours.
• Provide confidential, empowerment-based advocacy for survivors.
• Coordinate campus and community resources (housing, food, transportation).
• Maintain up-to-date data in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
