Job summary

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign seeks an Advocacy Coordinator / Assistant Director for the Women's Resources Center. The role leads survivor/victim support services and serves as a designated Confidential Advisor for students, faculty, and staff who have experienced sexual misconduct.

The position involves cross-placement at satellite locations and requires engagement with campus systems and community partners to navigate options, rights, and referrals for survivors.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed case management and crisis intervention for student, staff, and faculty survivors.
• Navigate survivor rights and options with University systems and community partners.
• Offer on-site confidential advising at embedded service locations.
• Advise on campus disciplinary processes and appeals when requested.
• Collect data to identify trends to inform outreach and response.
• Prepare and deliver reports, proposals, and updates in line with guidelines.
• Complete at least 6 hours of ongoing education annually on sexual violence issues.
• Develop collaborative partnerships with students and staff at embedded locations.
