Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active refrigeration license or ability to obtain within six months.
• Journey-level HVAC and control maintenance experience.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license.
• Five years of HVAC and control maintenance/repair experience.
• Three years refrigeration repair experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and specification drawings.
• Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to complete paperwork and organize work orders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for heating and ventilation systems.
• Perform jobs from start to finish, including material selection, ordering, setup, testing, quality assurance, and cleanup.
• Track labor hours, materials, and equipment.
• Inspect and service HVAC components and report issues.
• Repair motors, dampers, valves, and related controls.
• Repair and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Respond to emergency system problems and take appropriate action.
• Maintain clean and hazard-free work areas.
