Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Journeyman license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Three (3) years of field experience related to building maintenance—heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems required.
• Valid license or certification in CFC, electrical, or a similar trade required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in general operations and maintenance of mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Reads and records operating characteristics of heating and gas systems.
• Services and maintains HVAC systems, including CFC management.
• Performs maintenance on building operating systems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and controls.

Skills

General mechanical aptitude

Ability to solve complex mechanical problems

Experience in copper brazing

Self-motivated

Understanding of mechanical controls

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Journeyman license

Valid driver’s license

Three years of field experience related to building maintenance

Valid license or certification in CFC or a similar trade
