Young World Physical Education is looking for an experienced HVAC Mechanic/Maintenance Specialist to join our campus facilities maintenance team in Virginia. The role involves maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of HVAC systems in educational facilities.

Applicants should have at least four years of commercial HVAC experience, hold an EPA Certification, and preferably possess a Journeyman HVAC or Electrical License. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits within a professional educational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of commercial HVAC experience required.
• Journeyman HVAC or Electrical License preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience required.
• EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
• Service refrigerant systems and controls.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting using schematics.
• Maintain and repair boiler room equipment.
• Install new HVAC equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls.

Skills

Commercial HVAC experience

Electrical troubleshooting

Knowledge of refrigeration systems

Ability to read blueprints and diagrams

Education
