Job summary

Colorado College is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to service campus HVAC, refrigeration, and swimming pool systems. The role includes preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and support for after-hours on-call coverage as needed.

A Certified Pool Operator credential must be obtained within 60 days of employment. The position is nonexempt/hourly, with a typical schedule of 2080 hours per year, 40 hours per week, and 12 months per year, based on the HVAC Shop workload.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and related building systems as directed by the HVAC Supervisor.
• Assist with refrigeration equipment and pool maintenance as needed.
• Support pool operations and daily inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist with emergency responses and provide shop support as required.
