Job summary

Texas Woman's University is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform essential maintenance on HVAC systems across campus. Key responsibilities include conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments to ensure system performance and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for an associate degree or technical certification in HVAC. The role requires at least 2-4 years of relevant experience in maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with CMMS. A valid Texas driver's license is also required.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred (Type I, II, III, or Universal).
• 2-4 years of experience in HVAC maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Perform inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Adjust and calibrate HVAC controls and safety devices.
