Job summary

The Tennessee Board of Regents seeks an experienced HVAC Manager to oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and air handling systems across all campuses.

You will supervise a team of HVAC mechanics, coordinate with project teams, and ensure efficient operation and safety compliance. Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and CCMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Universal EPA Certification is required.
• Training/experience equal to journeyman-level trade classification.
• Five years of experience in HVAC repair and maintenance for large building applications or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Valid Tennessee driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of HVAC mechanics responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting building control systems and optimize controls and equipment.
• Research and propose solutions for HVAC repairs, modifications and maintenance.
• Perform weekly site inspections and prepare status reports for the Executive Director of Facilities.
• Input data in CCMS and maintain an inventory of HVAC systems by building and campus.
