Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bonded locksmith and safe lock servicing certifications or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of master keying and locksmith practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a rigid background check, polygraph, and on-call requirements.
• Willingness to work on-site at university housing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains mechanical and electronic locks and door closures.
• Programs electronic locks and maintains RS2 and related systems.
• Maintains inventory and processes work orders for lock shop supplies.
• Delivers keys and manages the housing key system with paper and software records.
• Responds to emergency work orders during and after hours as required.
• Provides customer service and supports staff and residents with lock and key issues.
