Job summary

Morningside University is seeking two dependable and energetic part-time Housekeepers to join our campus facilities team. The positions work approximately 29 hours a week, with some hours on Saturday and Sunday.

As a Housekeeper, you will perform custodial tasks, sweep and mop floors, and maintain high cleanliness standards while operating cleaning equipment safely. You will work both independently and as part of a team to keep campus spaces welcoming for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of general cleaning practices and experience using household or custodial equipment.
• The ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of custodial tasks to maintain clean, attractive, and orderly buildings.
• Sweeping, mopping, and caring for floors.
• Performing general cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
