Job summary

St Thomas University Inc. seeks a detail‑oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and dormitories. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize, restock supplies, and report safety hazards to keep a safe campus environment.

Flexible shifts may include evenings or weekends. Prior janitorial experience is a plus; reliability and the ability to work independently or with a team are essential to support students, staff, and visitors throughout campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexible shifts available; evenings or weekends based on campus needs.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling; replace liners.
• Dust furniture, window sills, and surfaces.
• Restock restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
• Clean windows, walls, and doors as needed.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Follow all safety and cleaning protocols.
• Assist with event setup and cleanup when required.
